A Masterpiece of Winemaking
At the heart of Pernelle's craftsmanship lies the Méthode Moderne, a unique approach that marries time-honoured techniques with contemporary innovation. This process begins with a classic blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grapes. A portion of the blend is aged for a minimum of three years on lees, imparting depth and complexity. The de-alcoholisation is performed gently in a single pass, preserving the integrity and character of the sparkling.

Stands up well, great mouth feel - got the body right. Dry style.
I ordered another 6 bottles of Pernelle Genesis after trying it in my first trial pack of 6 assorted bottles because i was so pleasantly surprised that it tasted like "real" sparkling wine. It is to be my celebration drink from now on. I even felt a little tipsy after 2 glasses 🥂
