Organic Non Alcoholic Wine
Organic wine makers have to follow a set of strict rules and regulations to ensure that there are no preservatives or pesticides in their wine. In fact, a winery has to use organic farming methods for at least three years before they can use the Organic label. What is organic wine?
Organic wine is wine that has been made from organically farmed grapes. While the rules and regulations for what constitutes organic farming vary from country to country, the practice generally excludes the use of artificial or synthetic chemicals in fertilisers, pesticides, fungicides and herbicides. True organic wine needs to be certified by an independent third party organisation such as Australian Certified Organic (ACO) and the National Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Australia (NASAA).
