Organic Non Alcoholic Wine
Organic wine makers have to follow a set of strict rules and regulations to ensure that there are no preservatives or pesticides in their wine. In fact, a winery has to use organic farming methods for at least three years before they can use the Organic label. Organic farming is also mindful of maintaining a healthy ecosystem and minimising the impact on the land. Our collection of organic wine includes Thompson & Scott and Odd Bird.

What is organic wine?
Organic wine is wine that has been made from organically farmed grapes. While the rules and regulations for what constitutes organic farming vary from country to country, the practice generally excludes the use of artificial or synthetic chemicals in fertilisers, pesticides, fungicides and herbicides. True organic wine needs to be certified by an independent third party organisation such as Australian Certified Organic (ACO) and the National Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Australia (NASAA).
Is there a non-alcoholic organic wine?
At Sans Drinks, we stock a number of non-alcoholic organic wines including our best-selling Thomson & Scott Noughty. Other non-alcoholic organic wine brands include Le Petit Etoile, made in France, and Sobriety Society made in Australia.
Is organic wine better for you?
Organic wine tends to be higher in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals than traditional wine. However, if organic wine contains alcohol then it can’t be considered healthy as alcohol has been scientifically linked to a wide range of negative health outcomes. Non-alcoholic organic wine, allows consumers to enjoy the benefits of added antioxidants without the alcohol.
